Not my favorite Hosoda movie, but still pretty good. Really hope Funimation picks it up from Bandai’s cold, dead body so the possibility of a Hosoda movie pack (Girl who Leapt Through Time / Summer Wars / Wolf Children) will be more possible.

Yeah, like I said in the DA post, I ended up knowing a lot more than I needed to know about the Summer Wars cast (er, if Wikipedia’s knowledgeable on the topic, that is; send me any corrections you have!). Also, I’m pretty sure Funimation’s dub flubbed in one of their lines (confused Mansuke for Mansaku), calling the former the youngest brother. Never really occurred to me that Natsuki was technically not a Jinnouchi. Also, did we ever see Hayate’s avatar in-movie? Kinda strange/scary to think they’ve readied him one at such a young age. Then again, that’s one of the points made in the movie.
