Happy Digimon Day!
13 years ago today, 7 chosen kids that witnessed the incident at Highton View Terrace Hikarigaoka 4 years prior finally realized what it all meant.
edit: haha, sounds like some people are confused as to which date today celebrates. Today (August 1, 2012) marks the 13th anniversary of the date the digi-destined arrived to the digi-worldin the TV series. The first episode of Digimon Adventure (season 1) aired March 7, 1999 in JPN and August 14, 1999 in the US. (A mere 5 month gap, which is pretty impressive even by today’s standards!) The Highton View Terrace Incident took place four years before the start of the Digimon AdventureTV series. No exact date for this has been given, but we can narrow the year down to 1995.
